This book was born from a simple question: How do we turn “Don’t touch that!” into “Come, let’s do this together”?
Inside, you will find activities designed for the Indian home, using materials you already have in your kitchen cabinet – turmeric, newspaper, flour, and flowers. Each festival is paired with a Montessori-inspired activity to build skills, followed by a coloring page to let their imagination run wild.
To give each festival the attention it deserves, we have split this journey into two parts:
This Book (Part 1): Covers the first half of the year. We begin with the harvest warmth of January (Lohri/Pongal), move through the colors of Spring (Holi/Vasant Panchami), and journey into the early Summer (Buddha Purnima/Rath Yatra).
Part 2: Will bring you the magic of the second half, covering the grand festivities of Raksha Bandhan, Dussehra, Bathukamma, Phool Dei , Christmas and a lot more.

The Haavu Eni Books initiative is truly impressive. My 3.5-year-old is captivated by the Indian Festivals coloring book; it’s been a fantastic tool for her to visually connect with our culture and understand the significance behind our traditions. We love these books and will definitely be back for more!

I got the Indian Festivals coloring book for my 6 year old niece and she loved it. A fun engaging way to learn about our culture and heritage. All the coloring books I can find are heavily western education oriented and Havu Eni books fills this crucial gap by creating books that celebrate our culture. Highly recommend!

“Colour and Learn Festivals” and “Colour and Learn Purana” are absolute hits with my 2-5 year old! These books are perfect for little artists, combining fun coloring activities with learning about festivals and mythological values. The illustrations are vibrant, and the simple text sparks curiosity. My kid loves pointing out colours and asking about the characters. Great way to introduce cultural learning through creativity!

Love how festivals across all states are covered and the info and activity for each one is great! My 4 year old generally looses patience in colouring big books, this one actually made him concentrate on the details. Looking forward to part 2 🙂

The festivals mentioned in the books are also rare ones and knowing the stories behind those festivals is intriguing..
