At Hāvu Ēṇi Books, we craft each activity book with a clear intention — to create something meaningful, thoughtful, and truly engaging for children.

We believe that stories can be many things at once. They can be playful, entertaining, and full of joy — and they can also help children to understand the world, explore emotions, and see perspectives beyond their own. That’s why every story we create carries a sense of depth, even when it feels light and fun.

We choose conscious themes that matter — topics that are often overlooked, underrepresented, or rarely explored in children’s literature. Sometimes, it’s about bringing forward voices and experiences that haven’t been heard enough. Other times, it’s about offering a fresh perspective on familiar ideas — a different lens, a new question, or an unexpected way of seeing the world.

We primarily create Kannada and English books, with our Kannada titles set to be released in May 2026. Through both languages, we aim to create stories that children will not only learn from, but also truly enjoy and cherish.

Alongside our children’s books, our coloring books for adults are designed with equal care and intention. They are created for a wide range of adults, keeping in mind different needs, paces, and experiences. Our aim is to make these books accessible to those who may benefit from cognitive and emotional support through simple, engaging activities — offering moments of calm, focus, and creative expression.

At the heart of Hāvu Ēṇi Books is a simple belief: when stories and activities are made with intention, children don’t just read them — they carry them for life, and gently bring adults back to connecting with their inner child.

You might know it as Snakes and Ladders, Paramapada, or Vaikuntapali. But for us, Hāvu (Snake) and Ēṇi (Ladder) represent the beautiful journey of growing up.

Life, like a good story, has its twists and turns. 🐍 The Snake reminds us that sometimes we slide, we pause, and we learn resilience. 🪜 The Ladder invites us to climb higher, dream bigger, and reach for the stars.
