This book was born from a simple question: How do we turn “Don’t touch that!” into “Come, let’s do this together”?
Inside, you will find activities designed for the Indian home, using materials you already have in your kitchen cabinet – turmeric, newspaper, flour, and flowers. Each festival is paired with a Montessori-inspired activity to build skills, followed by a coloring page to let their imagination run wild.
To give each festival the attention it deserves, we have split this journey into two parts:
This Book (Part 1): Covers the first half of the year. We begin with the harvest warmth of January (Lohri/Pongal), move through the colors of Spring (Holi/Vasant Panchami), and journey into the early Summer (Buddha Purnima/Rath Yatra).
Part 2: Will bring you the magic of the second half, covering the grand festivities of Raksha Bandhan, Dussehra, Bathukamma, Phool Dei , Christmas and a lot more.

Nagasmita Sadashiv –
The Haavu Eni Books initiative is truly impressive. My 3.5-year-old is captivated by the Indian Festivals coloring book; it’s been a fantastic tool for her to visually connect with our culture and understand the significance behind our traditions. We love these books and will definitely be back for more!
